I try to update my windos and always show me error update "   Advanced Micro Devices, Inc for support of AMD SMBus"

 

please how to fix this error

Hi:

 

See if installing the amd chipset driver from the link below and restarting the PC resolves the problem.

 

You want the 1st file listed on the webpage.

 

http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop/legacy?product=legacy4&os=Windows%207%20-%2064

 

This file should have the updated smbus controller driver included, and hopefully when you run windows update again, that device will no longer be listed.

 

If the windows update issue doesn't go away after doing the above, the driver is installed already, and there is no need to be concerned with that device not being updated to the very latest version.  Right click on the windows update and hide it.
