After the last W10 update (to v1903) it is impossible to disable the Synaptics Elan Touchpad (v 19.5.35.47) The earlier version (19.5.35.15) worked well.
I re-installed an earlier driver but the newest version (19.5.35.47) takes over control and cannot be removed ... anybody????

= Problem solved (by myself): Before the latest W10 update it was possible to disable the touchpad under "Mouse and other pointing devices". In SMbus touchpad v 19.5.35.47 this isn't longer possible.
If you search for Synaptics Touchpad neither. You can see the Touchpad there, but not "change" it.
> I typed "Touchpad" in the searchfield and there it is > Here you can able/disable the internal Touchpad with 1 click...
