Hi have a 15-fd0107dx that I just purchased. I am trying to connect dual monitors (LG 27MK430H) to it through an Anker A8390 Media Doc via the USB-C port. I attempted to other dock stations as well (J5Create JCS397 & JCD542) without success. I know all three work as I have tried them on my work PC. Anker states their product is compatible so what am I doing wrong?
Thanks
Brian

The specs of your machine is
It ONLY have a hopeless USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate (supports data transfer only ) port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to
- Charge your machine,
- Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter
If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only-total 3), you can use
- Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
- Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as
