HP 15-bs046na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought this laptop last year, but I didn't start using it until February 2019 - so it's had just 8 months use.  Shocked to see on the HP forum that so many other HP laptops have the same problem that I discovered last week: the left hand hinge is faulty, meaning I cannot open or close the laptop as it doesn't align properly, and that the casing and screen frame are all pulling apart.  The laptop hasn't been dropped or misused in any way, I am 58 years old and take care of my belongings and there are no children pulling it around.  HP: where do I stand please as surely this must be a production or manufacturing fault?  Very, very disappointed.
