HP Laptop 15-db1xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

There are 2 black spots in the bottom of my laptop screen. I was performing windows update on my laptop, which was taking too long. So instead of Shutting down, I just closed the Lid (Sleep Mode). Later in the morning when I turned on the laptop to continue with updates then I saw these 2 black spots in the bottom of the screen. After completing the updates my Laptop started working fine but the black dots remained. I tried changing the wallpaper but no luck. Then  I surfed what was the issue, it suggested that it might be dead/stuck pixels. Please find attached screen Any assistance?

Hi,

The panel is defective and needs to be replaced.

Is the PC still under warranty?

If you want a possible guide on how to replace the screen you will need to provide the exact model or product number.

Hope it helps,

I bought laptop @ HP Center in Pune, Maharashtra, India on 23 July 2020. And the Warranty Expired on 23 July 2021.

Is there any option so that I can exchange or replace the display?
