I am assisting my friend with setting up Windows 10 64bit on his HP G60-437CA (NW143UA s/n: 2CE934KZ9G). He wishes to use the hibernation feature in Windows but upon waking, it shows the POST screen, Windows 10 load screen and then a black screen. Attaching a monitor to the VGA port reveals video on that monitor. Checking the multiple monitors settings shows only the secondary monitor as the only monitor connected as though no power the the on board internal display port. Suspecting the MEI driver, I checked the device manager and the driver loaded is displayed as "Legacy Device" with a hardware ID of ACPI\INT0800. Unfortunately this laptop is now listed as retired so there is no longer drivers on the HP Support site. Also the ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq site is no longer available. All I would like if possible is a Windows 7 64bit softpaq for this specific unit's MEI (Southbridge 82801M (ICH9-M) Rev 3 if that helps at all.) It comes up as Intel 82802 Firmware Hub Device when properly working in Windows 7 64bit. If there is not a softpaq available for Window 7 64bit, I would even be willing to try the Vista 64bit one that was available in 2009. Please help!
