Hi @Khalil16,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are getting a BIOS error code 500 typically indicates an issue with the system's firmware, which can prevent the laptop from starting up properly. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:
1. Perform a Hard Reset
- Turn off the laptop and disconnect any external devices.
- Unplug the power adapter and remove the battery (if it's removable).
- Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds to discharge any remaining power.
- Reconnect the power adapter (but not any peripherals) and attempt to power on the laptop.
2. Restore BIOS Defaults
- Restart the laptop and press Esc repeatedly during startup to access the Startup Menu.
- Press F10 to enter the BIOS Setup Utility.
- Look for an option to "Load Setup Defaults" or "Restore Factory Settings."
- Save and exit the BIOS, then restart the laptop.
3. Reflash the BIOS
If the BIOS is damaged, you may need to reflash it using an HP recovery tool:
- Download the latest BIOS update for your laptop from the HP Support website.
- Prepare a USB flash drive:
- Format it to FAT32.
- Save the downloaded BIOS file to the USB drive.
- Insert the USB drive into the laptop.
- With the laptop off, press and hold the Windows + B keys (or Windows + V keys on some models), then press the power button for about 2-3 seconds and release it while still holding the keys.
- If successful, the laptop will access the USB drive and initiate the BIOS recovery process.
4. Use HP Support Assistant HP Support Assistant
If the above steps don't work, consider using the HP Support Assistant on another computer to create a recovery USB for the Victus. This tool may allow for BIOS recovery and further diagnostics.
Refer to this document: Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fa1000 User manual

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
