Blank Screen after BIOS Update

So I updated my laptop's BIOS in attempts to to fix some annoying minor bugs like the battery icon disappearing everytime I startup the computer or LED indicators not working properly. I went to Device Manager and went to Firmware and updated the driver there. It downloaded, rebooted the computer and brought me to the BIOS update screen at bootup. The update went by smoothly.

But now when I turn on the laptop, it will just show the HP Logo and then proceed to a black screen. I can hear Windows actually running normally, it plays the notification sounds, it connects to my phones hotspot and the f6 and capslock light indicator work when I press the  keys. I was able to connect it to another laptop tried to project the display. After a few minutes of blindly clicking around at the bottom corner, trying to click the OK button, I manage to hit it and it connected.  But when I  try tried duplicate the  display , the  other laptop doesn't display anything either. 

I tried doing the Windows + B and power button multiple times but to no avail. My BIOS version was F.61 at this point ( not quite sure what it was before the update. I tried going to Hardware Diagnostics by pressing f2 and boot and went to firmware management. I tried rolling back my bios (which says F.42). But it says it can't open the signature file. 

So I tried going to the official website and got my product's software. In the official site there is only F.47 and F.62. I tried flashing F.47 but it didn't seem to work and my bios didnt change. I flashed F.62 and it changed to F.62 but still didn't fix blank display. I also noticed in the logs of both BIOS flashes that there are some failures.

I tried:

BIOS Recovery using Win + B

Reseting CMOS with Win + V

no luck though

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue. I would suggest performing system factory reset will put the computer back to the original factory settings in this way all corrupted and outdated software will be removed. 

While doing the recovery there is an option to back up your personal files. If you have not previously done one now is a good time. 

Restoring Files that were Backed Up Using HP Recovery Manager (Windows) You can also contact HP support for assistance. They can remotely access your system to help alleviate difficulties: www.hp.com/contacthp/

The HP Cloud Recovery Tool allows you to download recovery software to a USB drive. You can use the downloaded recovery image file in order to install the Windows operating system.
