The blinking Caps Lock and Num Lock are the key.
Please refer to the Blink Codes in this link to determine what the problem is.

I use windows 10 os in my HP EnvyDV4 laptop.
I was not using the system (since I was out of town) for about15 days and now when I try to switch on its simply remains blank. After sometime it says boot device not recognised.
I tried removing battery, and again switiching on but no avail. What should I do?

2. Operating System installed (if applicable)
• Example: Windows XP, Windows Vista 32-bit, Windows 7 64-bit
3. Error message (if any)
• Example: ""Low disk space"" error in Windows
4. Any changes made to your system before the issue occurred
• Examples: Upgrading your Operating System or installing a new software; or installing new hardware like a printer, modem, or router.
