So, I just bought a brand new HP ENVY 15 2020, so I update it and set it up in the normal fashion. After setting it up, I wanna test out it's performance, so i download UserBenchmark and open it. But, when I ran it, the text was very fuzzy and in a sort of different, bolder font.
I hooked it up to an external monitor to see if the problem persisted on the monitor, but the UserBenchmark text was PERFECTLY FINE on the external monitor, while the text on the notebook's monitor was still as fuzzy as before. This also occured with multiple windows system apps (Services, SysManagement, etc). It also occcured with my installation of Bitdefender. It also occurs with some update wizards, and installation windows, but on Google, Skype, etc. it's perfectly clear.
I tried updating to the latest graphics drivers and NVIDIA drivers, and I tried ClearType, making sure the monitor resolution was set to recommended, checking scaling, etc, I even updated to Windows 10 2004 using the Update Assistant to see if it would help, but nope. I've installed every single update possible. Please, this computer costs a lot of money, and it's straight up brand new, so I shouldn't be having to deal with this. Please help.

Ok, moments after posting this, I found a MIRACLE!!!:
http://windows10-dpi-fix.xpexplorer.com/
(I know it looks sketchy, I thought so to, so I was skeptical and scanned it multiple times with AV, no flags, perfectly fine. Don't worry, it's a legitimate tool.)
Anyone else suffering the same problem should use this tool, all my problems just went away after using this 😄
Follow the link, read what the website has to say, then install the tool, set scaling to 125%, then check 'Use Windows 8.1 scaling (our fix). Hit 'Apply', then reboot your computer. All of my blurry text/ image problems went away, and hopefully yours will as well!
