HP Laptop 14-bw0xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just bought this laptop yesterday, March 5th, for the soul purpose of downloading and editing my videos from my video camera. When I try to open my videos to watch, no matter what application is used it won't show my video. Either it's a completely black screen or it plays for less then a second and freezes. I can hear the audio perfectly but when I try to rewind it completely freezes. When I download to my computer the file type is "AVI file". Please someone help me solve this so that I can believe that this computer wasn't a waste of money.

ALSO when I hover over things it's just blank. No matter what it is on my desktop.

Thank you kindly!

Try VLC Player. Works with almost any video file:

Or install Codecs-Basic to enable playback on most of your video players:

I downloaded VLC. It plays back perfectly.

I'm still extremely dissapointed in the applications that came in the computer.

Thank you for your suggesting!
