HP Laptop 14-cf2xxx

I changed my OS from what I think was Windows 11 S to Windows 10 and then back to Windows 11 23H2, with a boot drive. I've tried drivers (HP programs) bios updates, regedit, and a bunch of other stuff, should I change the OS back to what it was? (if so where can I find the Image ISO) My brightness in general (Keys, Settings, etc.) just won't work. It's always at max. I got it from Amazon when it was available, so I hope this link helps.

Thank you.

See if your notebook is supported by the HP cloud recovery tool which you can use to factory reset the drive to its 'out of the box' condition.

Here is a link for how to use the utility.  You will need to use a 32 GB USB flash drive.

You can download the software from the Microsoft Store.

Afterwards, if you want or need to, you can switch out of S-mode by following the guidance at the link below:

I’ll try this.
