Hi, can anyone possibly point me to how I would go about getting a cracked screen fixed for the above please?


It’s relatively new but Warranty ended in 2020 and HP longer seem to offer the part to replace. Spoken to several Indy repair shops who have all said they either can’t get them, or can only get from China (but won’t) due to transit costs and apparently, quality issues.

 

The laptop is still decent spec for our need so would rather not write off and replace if we can get fixed.

 

Is it normal for a manufacturer to discontinue screen parts so quickly? If anyone knows of anywhere that may be able to supply / fix would be most grateful.
