HP Chromebook x360 14a-ca0000 (2V973AV)
Chrome OS

Unfortunately my 9 year old sat a chair on my laptop then hid it under his bed. I've had it for over a year and love it very much. Wondering if it's worth fixing and how to go about that. Also wanting to know how much that would cost or should I just save up and buy a new one all together. Seems wasteful sense it's just the screen and the rest seems to be functioning as far as I can tell without a visual on the screen at all. Please help!!!

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that your Chromebook screen is broken, I am glad to assist you.

This seems to be a hardware issue and requires one on one interaction to fix the issue.

I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer.

Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.

I hope this helps resolve this issue completely.

If this helps, please mark the public post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.
