I cannot get my built in camera to turn on. All the drivers and updates are good. Nothing seems to be working.

Check microphone and camera permissions:

Settings > Privacy >

Check settings for

Camera

and

Microphone

Unsolicited Comments

If all else fails, know that it is possible that the tiny wires that connect the webcam to the little camera - or at the other end where the wires connect to the motherboard - are damaged, loose, crushed, or otherwise compromised.  There is no "softaware" fix for broken connections.  On the other hand, the repair is not expensive compared to other things that can happen to a computer.
