@Jairus19, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Check Camera Access History: Windows 11 tracks apps that have accessed your camera. To view this, open Settings with Win + I, go to Privacy & security, then click Camera under App permissions. In the Recent activity section, you'll see which apps have used your camera in the last seven days. If an app is using your camera without your knowledge, close it.

Close Background Apps: You can also use Task Manager to end the task by selecting the app and clicking End Task.

Restart the Camera Service (CamSvc): press Win + R, type services.msc, and hit Enter. Locate Capabilities Access Manager Service, right-click it, and select Restart. If the error keeps happening, set the service to start automatically by selecting Properties and changing the Startup type to Automatic.

Install Windows and System Updates: Outdated drivers can cause camera issues. To check for updates, open Settings, go to Windows Update, and click

Check for updates. Install any available updates for the camera or firmware. You can also download the latest drivers from HP support website.

Reinstall Camera Drivers: In Device Manager, right-click the camera under the Camera section and select Uninstall device. Restart your computer, and Windows will automatically reinstall the driver. If the issue started after a recent update, you can roll back the driver by selecting Roll Back Driver in the Properties tab of the camera in Device Manager.
