The webcam is not working, and the light keeps blinking repeatedly. When I launch the camera, an error message saying "No connected devices" briefly appears but then immediately disappears, and the application switches between the camera and the photo mode. I've noticed that Victus laptops have been experiencing this issue since the beginning of the summer, and I tried following various troubleshooting guides from this support, such as updating drivers and the BIOS, but it didn’t resolve the problem. Diagnostics also showed nothing, in Device manager the Status is "working".

I understand that you are having issues with the web camera.
Locate and toggle the webcam privacy switch or press the webcam shutter key
Select HP notebook models come with a webcam privacy switch or a webcam shutter key that turns the webcam off and on. By default, the webcam is turned on. You might need to turn the webcam on if it has been turned off.
Note: Your HP notebook might also have a webcam privacy cover. Slide the cover right to uncover the webcam.

Hi Elohi,
Thank you for your response, but the issue has not been resolved. My Victus laptop does not have camera shutter key or privacy switch. The webcam is normally connected to the device, but when I attempt to activate it, it keeps alternately connecting and disconnecting (accompanied by the camera light blinking). The switching is so rapid that I don't even get a chance to see the image—likely the problem occurs right when it tries to start, which fails, causing the camera to shut down and attempt to start again. I thought it might be a software issue, but changing the driver didn’t resolve it (or I might have incorrectly installed the driver, and it has since reverted to a newer version).
