You don't need to open your notebook and disconnect the internal battery to reset the BIOS / clear CMOS. You can achieve the same by resetting the BIOS using the key combination WIN+B during reboot:
Shutdown the notebook and press WIN+B keys simultaneously while you power it on again and keep both keys pressed for some time. This will initiate the BIOS reset process. After this reset was finished and the notebook restarted again the issue was solved in my case.

For those who have similar issue on dragonfly g4 laptops:
CMOS reset helps to solve this issue, for that you need to shut down your laptop, press power button for 25 seconds and turn on your laptop again. Cheers.
