Product: HP ENVY x360 - 15m-bp011dx

The HDMI port on my Envy is not working.    I want to get a USB 3.0 hub and plug in my KB and cable to output video to a second monitor that has an HDMI input.    Will it work?

Hi,

Yes, it will work. Your USB-C port has DP 1.2 alt mode, so you can get a regular USB-C to HDMI adapter.

1 USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 (Data Transfer up to 5 Gb/s, DP1.2, HP Sleep and Charge)

On page 23 of service manual you can see that a USB-C to HDMI cable is offered with the notebook.
