 Hi!
My laptpop's model is HP pavilion x360 m3 u001dx. And the display is gone.
(1) If I change display will it be okay?
(2) Can I replace the display with Hp pavilion x360 m3 u101 dx model's display? (I saw many website selling same display compatible for both model. But they are costly. I wanna buy a used one with cracked digitizer, digitizer of my laptop is okay.so will it work?)
(3) What should I do?

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Boot the computer into the Bios screen and check if the screen normal.

  • Turn off your computer
  • Make sure you have connected the power cable
  • Turn on your notebook, as it is starting press the F10 button repeatedly.

And also you can connect the computer to an external monitor or TV in order to verify the display. If you see an abnormal image or display then you need to service the computer.

I would request you to reach out to our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to check the available service options in order to diagnose the computer physically. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: www.hp.com/contacthp/

But there is a problem, After few days it happened,  I turn on my computer then I found my display okay, but it was flickering,  so I thought to reset my pc with hp recovery drive. But as soon as the progress starts and at the middle of reinstalling windows my display became like this again. the flicker in the display changes with time, the touch don't work,  cursor don't move. so now every time I start my pc it starts in installing windows option. Now I'm unable to use another display to check it out. Is there any way?
