HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop - 16-a0097nr
Microsoft Windows 11

I have an HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop - 16-a0097nr with an  Intel® Core™ i7-10750H. I wondering if it would support an ultrawide monitor like a 49" LG 49WL95C-W which has resolution 5120 x1440. Thoughts? Thx.

Its specs

It has 2 video out ports

People saying you can use HDMI 2.0 but I don't believe it works properly for 5120 x1440.

Regards.

I'll not shop for an ultrawide at 5120 x1440 unless someone can positively confirm it does work. Thanks for the feedback. I'll leave it open for now in case someone can pin it down for sure.

After much searching on the web, I could not come up with a firm answer, so I asked ChatGPT. I gave it my GPU and desired resolution. It said it would support that resolution for office applications but not gaming. So I ordered the monitor. We'll see if ChatGPT speak with forked tongue or not.

Thanks. I would like to see how good ChatGPT is. I spent 1 Sunday to use ChatGPT, I don't know how far down the track but the reply was 90% as I thougt (simple question: how much to replace a rear side door of my car).
