HP MPP Pen

My pen won't work and I'm trying to use my warranty to replace it. I don't have a serial number so I can't use any of HP's usual options.

ASIN: [personal info removed]

Item model number: 1FH00AAR#ABA

Here's the info on the pen from the amazon website. To make things clear, I am NOT looking for troubleshooting for the pen. I have tried everything on this pen, I JUST WANT TO KNOW HOW TO REDEEM MY WARRANTY.

The serial number is nowhere on the product. I don't have the packaging anymore, but I have the warranty packet that was in the packaging, and the packet doesn't have the serial number either.

I have my proof of purchase from amazon. I have the physical pen and can mail it to wherever is needed. I can't even redeem my Asurion protection plan because my HP warranty is still active, but I can't even access it. I've been trying for hours to talk to an actual person to help me get support, and it's led nowhere, because every support option requires a serial number. I'm extremely frustrated and dissatisfied with the customer service options I'm finding so far.

True -- this can be sorted.

True, too, you'll need an agent to access private information.

What?  Those of us not "HP people" cannot (should never) access your private information.

Hi @FSchaef4,

Thank you for your response,

If you can't access the serial number for your HP Pen purchased on Amazon and need to access the warranty, you have a few options,

  • Check the Packaging: The serial number for your HP Pen may be located on the packaging it came in. Look for any stickers, labels, or markings on the box or packaging that might contain the serial number.
  • Check the Product: Sometimes, the serial number may be located on the pen itself. Carefully inspect the pen for any labels or markings that could contain the serial number.
  • Contact Amazon: Reach out to Amazon customer support or the seller you purchased the HP Pen from on Amazon. They may be able to provide you with the serial number or help you locate it.
  • Check Your Amazon Account: Log in to your Amazon account and go to your order history. Find the order for the HP Pen and check if the serial number is listed there.
  • Review Email Communication: If you received any confirmation or order-related emails from Amazon or the seller, check if they contain the serial number or any relevant information.
  • Review the User Manual: If your HP Pen came with a user manual, check the manual for information on how to find the serial number or register your product.

If you would like to thank us for our efforts to help you, please go to the public post and click on "Accepted Solution" and give us a virtual high-five by clicking on the "Thumbs Up" icon.

Take care and have a great day ahead!
