So when I got the laptop and checked the camera wasn't working but the Windows, BIOS, drivers, etc. weren't updated so I said ok I will just do a clean install, did that, and updated BIOS to the latest version and downloaded the HP support assistant so it can download all the drivers it needs, and still, I didn't see the camera in device manager.
Things that I also tried: scanned for hardware changes in the device manager, show hidden devices, looked into the audio folder in the Device manager for the camera, tried to install the HP camera driver(the script just stopped working), checking if the camera is disabled in BIOS perhaps, put BIOS back to factory default settings, restarted the Microsoft camera app, I also checked for physical camera switch on the laptop and there isn't one, etc. maybe I tried more stuff I can't remember at the moment and still I'm getting the no camera in the Device manager and the famous 0xA00F4244<NoCamerasAreAttached> error in Microsoft camera app.
I also opened it up at the end and I can't do that much without tearing the entire screen apart so I just disconnected the camera port on the motherboard and put it back in that didn't change anything...
Also, I have to mention that the microphone works, and it's kind of the part of the camera so I don't think the camera is "not attached", but maybe I'm wrong.
