Hello, my notebook is Envy 14 version from 2021 with 1135G7 CPU and nvidia 1650ti max-q graphics. I am connecting to external display (Dell S2721DS) which supports 2560x1440 at 75 Hz. HDMI port on my laptop is version 2.0a so it should support that resolution/refresh rate. Problem is, I can't set refresh rate on that resolution to more than 60 Hz, either through Intel command center or through Windows 11 adapter settings, maximum I can choose is only 60 Hz.
Funny thing is, when I use the same cable and same external monitor, but I connect it through USB-C to HDMI adapter using Thunderbolt4 port of my notebook, I can normally choose 75Hz and it works well.
How can I get 75Hz at 1440p through HDMI port? Thank you
