Hello I have been provided with a HP EliteBook 840 G8 i5 for work and work from home, I want to use 2 monitors as well as the laptop screen, I currently have 1 monitor plugged into one of the USB C ports and it works, before I go and purchase a 2nd, will they all work on extended view or will I need to purchase one of the HP docks?
Thanks in advance.

Its specs

It has
- (2) USB Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports with USB4 support (SuperSpeed USB 20 Gbps is not available)
- (1) HDMI 2.0 (cable sold separately)
You can use other Thunderbolt™ 4 or HDMI for one more monitor. You can also daisy chain second monitor to the first monitor if they supported this function. More info
