Is it at all possible that the video driver software installed on the HP Envy 16 is not compatible, and maybe there's an updated driver that can be installed?

Hi,

I have the latest drivers and updated the New BIOS also. 

 

It seems HP has disabled this feature. Very disappointing?

Seems bizarre that HP would intentionally disable compatibility with something like this, unless there's some sort of amped up rivalry going on between LG and HP...and LG was intentionally shut out. Might be worth doing a search on this issue with a variety of different criteria to see if perhaps someone else posted about this issue. Maybe there's an undocumented workaround?

Please see my reply above where I took the LG monitor to the mall and connected it to other Laptops and it worked perfectly. It even worked with 2 different models of HP. Strange its disabled with the ENVY 16. I am using the i9-12900H version 32GB RAM 2 TB SSD NVIDIA 3060 6GB.
