I cannot use my TV (Panasonic Plasma TV) with my laptop through HDMI.
When I plug it in I can see the connection works because I can see "PanasonicTV0" under Select a screen in the Intel HD control panel.
However, the screen says no signal.
Also in Intel HD, if I click the Detect button in the multiple screens section, a popup message says there is no screen detected.
Windows does not see any other display either under the display settings page.
I have another Dell PC running Windows 10 that can connect without issues.
On the HP Envy x360, everything is up to date with the HP Support Assistant.
Please help!

Dear DavidSMP,
you troubleshooting worked!
In fact the only step I did to resolve the issue was the first one provided : uninstall the display video drivers.
After booting up, Windows 10 reinstalled the drivers automatically. I then tried to hook up my PC to the TV and it instantly worked.
So thumbs up to you and a bing thank you!

Hi there,
Thank you for your detailed explanation.
I have tried updating BIOS but does not work (it updated well, even restarted my laptop). Further, how do I know my BIOS is updated? I do not see Diplay Adapters in my Device Manager after the BIOS update.
My apologies, I am not an expert in IT or operating systems on computers and so I am not sure whether I did the right thing. Please advise.
