Was recently given HP Pavilion g6 laptop, which had windows 7 installed.Updated to windows 10 pro 64 bit,and updated to SSD and 8gb ram.All seems to work very well, except when i try to play youtube videos.Anything above 360p playback, and it stutters and freezes for a second.Display adapter is Radeon HD 6380g,and AMD Catalyst software is installed.Has a AMD E2 3000 processor and clocked to 2300mhz,so does anyone know how to fix the graphic/video issue i'm having. Is it a driver issue, which i thought it may be but am not a tech wizard so am lost of what to do.

That 6380g shares memory with the laptop. Possibly it does not have enough video memory. Log into the BIOS setup and see if there is a memory sharing value that can be changed.
That Radeon chip itself is capable of 720p
Some versions of the P6 can accept 2x8gb = 16gb
You could try tiny10 or tiny 11
There is an operating system called Tiny 10 that might work better than the full blown W10.
Works great. Uses the W10 product key in the BIOS to activate
The official and complete tiny10 and tiny11 list – NTDEV
You can actually install W11 on your notebook if you want, because it does not check for processor compatibility.
Let me know what you find out.

Nothing in Bios that i can see, which would allow to alter memory settings.Installed Tiny 11,but now it struggles to play even 360p youtube videos. Is it possible it's actually to do with the AMD catalyst software, maybe it needs to be set up and activated.I am unfamiliar with AMD cpu and graphics. But it's all i can think of right now,and windows 11 installed this by default so no way i could opt out.

https://www.amd.com/en/support/download/drivers.html
AMD had an application that can identify your video and download the correct driver. Your system is old and it may not work for windows 10 or 11 but try it

there are drivers from 2017 here

be sure to check for Malware as that site might try to download advertisements and other "free" items
Scan for "Malicious" software. Generally speaking this is software that is not considered a virus or trojan. It performs unwanted functions such as downloading newer advertisements or reporting what the user is looking to buy and offering alternative suggestions. Typically free games have these apps. Note that some users consider this to be a feature.
Type MRT in the windows search bar.
