I am using 2 - hp 24f monitors connected to ThinkPad USB-c compatible docking station. All of these products work as I had gotten them from work and tested them out on my Chromebook x360 with success. When trying this set up for my home office and hooking up all ports and cables correctly, I cannot get the displays to work. When attaching the dock to the laptop there is an initial attempt to change settings but reverts to default. Charging is successful though! However, there are no display options in settings other than the built-in. Also, the monitors do not detect my laptop.

Bringing my laptop back into the office to connect where I previously had success led to a disappointing failure. Now my laptop does not want to link to any display monitors. Even directly to one monitor via HDMI/USB-c cord.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm hoping that my laptop's ports are not damaged?

Update: Used another Chromebook to test the setup and connected successfully to both monitors.

Looks like the issue is possible broken ports on the physical laptop.
