HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-fd0000 (70R04AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I have a problem with the color display on my HP Laptop 15-fd0xxx. The colors look very dull, for example, blacks appear as grays, and reds look like oranges. I have tried calibrating the screen, but there is no place to adjust the contrast and color of the screen, except for the Windows 11 calibration, which has not solved the problem.

    • Press F2 to open System Diagnostics.
    • Run the Display Test to check for any hardware issues with the screen.

6. Check for Windows Updates

    • In the Adapter tab, click on List All Modes.
    • Select a different resolution and refresh rate, then click OK. If this doesn't help, revert to the previous setting.

8. Check for External Interference

  1. External Devices:
    • Disconnect any external monitors or projectors to ensure they are not affecting the display settings.
    • Test the laptop display in different lighting conditions to see if the environment is affecting the perceived color quality.

By following these steps, you should be able to diagnose and potentially resolve the color display issues on your HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-fd0000.

If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it may be a hardware problem with the display itself. Contact HP Phone Support for further assistance or consider taking your laptop to an authorized service center for a thorough diagnosis.
