I have an HP Spectre x360 laptop and the contrast is too high and I'd like to adjust it a bit... however I can't seem to find the option to do this anywhere. I can't do it from windows display settings, and when I google the answer, it tells me to go to my Intel graphics settings and change it there... except... my laptop has an Nvidia card in it... and when I go to the Nvidia control panel it literally only shows me options for 3D stuff and no color settings at all. I'm lost as to where I'm supposed to adjust the colors. I upgraded to the latest Nvidia driver but this didn't give me any new color setting options.
I've submitted a support request before and was told to create a new user profile and update to latest drivers.... I've done both and there's no change. Is this monitor really just stuck being super red/high contrast? At this point I want to return it for a refund.

I solved the problem myself. I had to locate the "Intel Graphics Control Panel" which isn't accessible through Display Settings or anything like that. I simply typed it into my Windows search bar and it brought up the software. Once in there I was able to go to the Color Settings and easily adjust the contrast and the saturation. I had to crank saturation down to -30.
It's really strange that when I right click my desktop it only shows me the NVIDIA Control Panel and Display Settings options and not this Intel Graphics Control Panel which is actually the thing driving the saturation/contrast on my screen. Maybe this is an issue only to Spectre x360 laptops or maybe it's an issue across other HP devices... all I know is that the support had me chasing my tail looking at color calibration and whatnot when it wasn't even the right control panel to be looking at. I would highly suggest that HP Support guides people to using the Intel Graphics Control Panel settings instead of running them through other solutions.

@Konidias Let's try increasing the brightness of the laptops and check if that makes a difference,
Also, you may want to perform a colour calibration to get the screen into your preference:
Before you start, make sure your monitor has been on for at least half an hour, so it's warmed up properly, and clean your monitor.
1. Right-click on the desktop and select Display settings
2. Click "Advanced display settings" at the bottom of the settings window.
3. Verify that your monitor is set to the recommended, native resolution. If it's not, set it to the recommended resolution at least for this calibration process.
4. Click "Color calibration" at the bottom of the advanced display settings window.
5. Click Next to start the colour calibration.
The wizard will walk you through adjusting your colour settings. You'll:
- Set the display to the factory default colour settings, if your monitor allows you to do that
- Adjust your display's gamma to match a sample image
- Adjust the brightness and contrast
Adjust the colour balance
6. At the end of the wizard, click Finish to save your settings.

I've tried everything you listed and it still doesn't change the reds from being way too strong. I went through the color calibration and when I get to the adjust contrast section there is no way for me to adjust the contrast on my laptop screen. There are no controls available to adjust, and my keyboard/laptop has no buttons to adjust the contrast, only the brightness... So I'm unable to physically adjust the contrast on my laptop. I can get the gamma to look correct but the contrast is eye-straining. I tried to lower all of the color balance colors to half and that merely dimmed my colors overall but the red is still blistering.

@Konidias I'm glad that worked, and to let you know that isn't an issue as such, it's just that you have dual graphics and the one accessible via the desktop is Nvidia while you can search for the other via the windows search as you have.
