Why am I unable to enter my Pin In the pin box that unlocks my computer? It will let me type numbers but not letters.

Normally for password you can use valid characters (including letters and numbers) but for PIN, you have to use numbers. You have few options to set it up. Please use the following guide

 

                  Windows sign-in options and account protection
