My laptop screen is extremely dim; I can only see it if I shine my phone light against it. I had left it on, charging and running on a google meet, but when I came back the screen appeared to be black. I thought it was off but it was not, so I plugged it out and shut it down forcefully. When I restarted it, I noticed that I could see the hp logo but it was very dim. It had updates to complete, so it went through that process. I restarted the laptop several times and left it for around half an hour to no avail. I am not sure what to do now. I can still use the laptop, but it's so dim that I cannot see what I'm doing without the flashlight that barely helps me.
