I went to open my computer. There is so cracks or damage, why are lines and colors appearing? I do not remember dropping it, it was hidden away for a while but now its acting odd.

You said it was away for "a while" -- so how old is it, and when was the last time you used it.
Lines on the screen and color discoloration are nearly always indications of failing video hardware.
To see if it is the screen, connect an external monitor and see if it has the same issues. If it does, then it is the video chip that is failing and that is costly to replace. If it does NOT, then it is the screen that is failing and while that is cheaper to replace, it still can be a lot of work.
