Hello, community.
I have a HP laptop 15-e3000. This laptop has one HDMI port. I read that the thunderbolt port does not support display. So, I would like to know if I can connect two external HDMI monitors using a HDMI splitter to have extended displays. Or will it duplicate the image on both monitors?
Thanks in advanced.

HDMI splitter is a joke, it gives you same contents on both screens. The specs of your machine is:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_5789233-5789281-16
It ONLY has 1 USB 3.2 Gen 1.0 Type-C port (data transfer only; charging or external monitors not supported) port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to
- Charge your machine,
- Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter (some hubs may have builtin chip to support this)
If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only), you can use
- Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
- Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as
Regards.
