No, HDMI splitter is a joke, you can only get SAME contents on both monitors. The dock has 2 more DP ports, you can use a DP to HDMI cable to connect to the second HDMI monitor. DP and HDMI use digital signals, you don't need a converter. For example
Many around and much cheaper too (bidirectional cables are more expensive)
