Note: Thunderbolt™ 3 ports on your machine may NOT be the same Thunderbolt™ 3 on an Apple machine therefore adapters from Apple may not compatible with HP machines.

Hi - thanks for that and I had also independently found that this apple adaptor did not work. But I did read that there may be some workaround with a different adaptor or some BIOS settings etc. I have included some photos of the Apple Monitor to show the version if that helps.
