I have a new display (Acer ED3 Series) connected to my HDMI port. I also have an external keyboard and mouse connected via USB. I simply want to close my laptop 'lid' and use my external devices with my laptop. As soon as I close my laptop 'lid', my Acer display disappears; what can I do to use all my external devices with the laptop 'lid' closed? Thanks.

Firstly you need to
- Select your external monitor as the only display (or as default). It will automatically switch to main display when external display is not connected
- Select Do nothing when close the lid
How
(a) Please use the following instructions
https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/help/4340331/windows-10-set-up-dual-monitors
(b) Right click Battery icon, select Power options, then Choose what closing the lid does
Remember click Apply/Ok to get out.
Regards.
