Product: HP w2207 monitor
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Can I connect a HP w2207 Monitor (no HDMI)  to a Lenovo Y50-70 laptop?

 

I have a HDMI to VGA cable but screen says "Check Video Cable".

 

Any suggestion.

From HDMI (digital) to VGA (analog) you need a proper converter, cable alone won't work. Your monitor has DVI-D (digital) port therefore you can use HDMI to DVI cable directly, no need a converter. For example
