I have a HP X360 Convertible lap top, which has a touch screen, I have just bought a Microsoft Surface pen, it connects to the machine by bluetooth, but then wont work on the touch screen, its a windows 10 machine which is just under a year old with a 13" screen, I'm really disapointed as I bought a good pen and thought it would be a great addition to my machine, but at the minute it feels like I might be putting it on e-bay!!! Any thoughts?

Is your laptop optimized for Windows Ink? Also, what protocol the pen is using? If I'm not mistaken, certain HP X360s use the Microsoft Pen Protocol (MPP); such as mine (which is an Envy X360 15m-bq121dx). I had to set change my pen from Wacom's API, to MPP and got it to function properly.
