I am trying to connect a monitor to my laptop. I have a NOVOO RM11 Pro 11 in 1 docking station. I have the docking station plugged into my laptop; the monitor is plugged into the docking stations Display Port which is the only port my cord will fit into. When I turn the laptop and monitor on and go to settings, I'm getting a message that another display cannot be detected. My monitor scans display port, DVI & VGA and indicates no signal then goes into sleep mode. II was told I had the wrong docking station so I purchased a RM12F however my monitor cord will not fit into any of the ports. The monitor is an HP monitor. Cn anyone help me out?
Thanks in advance.

What is your HP 14-cf2000 Laptop PC (552L9AV) machine ? It could be one of the following machines

For example: HP Laptop 14-cf2121wm
Your machine should have same ports as the above machine. It ONLY has 1 hopeless USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to
- Charge your machine,
- Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter (some hubs may have builtin chip to support this)
If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only-total 3), you can use
- Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
- Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as
