Microsoft Windows 11

Hello everyone,

I'm having trouble connecting two external monitors to my OMEN Gaming Laptop 16-wf0006ua. The laptop has an HDMI port and USB-C ports with Thunderbolt support (there's a lightning symbol next to them). I am trying to connect one monitor via HDMI, which works fine, and the second one through a HP DHC-CT200 adapter via the USB-C port.

When I connect the monitor through the adapter, the monitor responds but does not receive any video signal. I've tried changing the display settings in Windows, updating drivers, and checking the port functionality, but nothing seems to work.

Does anyone have experience with this adapter or laptop model and know how to resolve this issue? Is there a way to confirm if my USB-C port fully supports DisplayPort Alt Mode for video output?

Thanks in advance for your help!

This should have worked.  port1 can pass video in all versions of your laptop.  Try another HDMI cable and also switch monitors.

Is that USB-C adapter powered?  Possibly it and the monitor draw too much power from the laptop.  Try a TV set or another monitor.
