Connecting a mouse to a 3.0 USB port

Example: hp 15
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I need help connections a mouse to a 3.0 USB port. The Logitech mouse transmitter is not recognized by laptop. What do I do. What type of adapter do I need ??

You can't buy the adapters individually; they come with the mice.

 

You need to go into the UEFI settings and look for USB Legacy support and ensure it is enabled.  That allows the newer USB 3.x ports to use older USB 1x and USB2x devices.
