I wish to connect both my monitor and graphic tablet to my laptop.
It has1 USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate (supports data transfer only and does not support charging or external monitors); 2 USB Type-A 5Gbps signaling rate; 1 AC smart pin; 1 HDMI 1.4b; 1 headphone/microphone combo.
Acer monitor i use does have abbility to connect 2 more hdmi devices to it.
Can this laptop support additional 2 monitors and how should i archive this?

Hi @yuri-sakaki
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Your HP 15s-eq2056nm laptop has the following key ports relevant for connecting an external monitor or graphic tablet:
- 1 USB Type-C (for data transfer only; no video output)
- 1 HDMI 1.4b port (supports an external monitor)
- 2 USB Type-A ports (for peripherals, including your graphic tablet)
To connect two monitors (plus your graphic tablet), you’ll need to explore a few different options, as your laptop only has one HDMI port. Here's how you can make it work:
Option 1: Use HDMI Port + USB to HDMI Adapter
Your laptop has a single HDMI 1.4b port, which you can use to connect one external monitor directly. For the second monitor, since your laptop doesn’t have another video output port, you can use a USB to HDMI adapter.
- How to connect:
- First Monitor: Connect the first external monitor to the HDMI 1.4b port.
- Second Monitor: Use a USB-to-HDMI adapter to connect the second monitor via one of your USB Type-A ports.
- These adapters convert a USB 3.0/USB-C port into an HDMI output, allowing you to connect a second external display.
- Popular options include Plugable USB 3.0 to HDMI adapters or WAVLINK USB 3.0 to HDMI adapters.
Option 2: Use a USB Display Adapter (USB to DisplayPort)
Instead of using HDMI, you can use a USB-to-DisplayPort adapter (if your monitor has a DisplayPort input). This provides the same functionality as the USB-to-HDMI option but might offer better resolution and refresh rate performance for certain monitors.
- How to connect:
- First Monitor: Use the HDMI 1.4b port for one external monitor.
- Second Monitor: Use a USB-to-DisplayPort adapter from your USB Type-A port to the DisplayPort input on your second monitor (if supported).
Option 3: Use a Multi-Display Docking Station
A USB docking station with dual HDMI outputs would give you a more streamlined solution for connecting multiple monitors. These docking stations plug into a single USB Type-A or USB Type-C port (depending on the model), and they provide multiple video outputs.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
