HP Pavilion - 15-cs0016na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have called the HP phone support and they told me that the displayport does support video. So I have bought an adapter cable  USB-C 3.1 to HDMI, but it won't work. The monitors both work well on the HDMI port. I read on a previous thread that the displayport is not thunderbold, thus it does not support video. Is that true? If so, what other solutions are available to me to be able to connect this laptop to two HDMI monitors. I have to work with it, please help.

I see from your post that you're having issues connecting your laptop to an external monitor. Don't worry we'll work together to help you find a solution.

After reviewing your post thoroughly, I did go through the Maintenance and service guide of your notebook and found that there is no Thunderbolt port available on your PC.

Hence you will not be able to connect using USB Type C to HDMI.

The USB Type-C port is mainly used to Connects a USB device, such as a cell phone, camera, activity tracker, or smartwatch, and provides data transfer.

There is only one HDMI port available on your PC.

I hope this answers your question, do let me know if you need any further assistance.

that said, If the information I've provided was helpful,

give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,

that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Good Luck.
