Troubleshooting black screen issues on HP Notebooks: Click here to view the instructions!
HP Recommended
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I opened up my laptop today after not using it for several weeks and I noticed my screen was cracked. It has been sitting on my nightstand untouched. It has not been dropped or has had anything sitting on top of it. There is no reason it should have cracked. I was searching to find out if it could be replaced, when I found this forum. When reading other people has had similar experiences, albeit a few years ago, I decided to chime in. Is this something that HP will fix or replace? I would love feedback from HP or anyone who has had a similar experience more recently. Thanks!

(I used 3 different background colors to make it easy to see the cracks.)These are all the same cracksThese are all the same cracksJust used different backgroundJust used different backgroundcolors to see them better.colors to see them better.
