HP - Envy 17.3" Touch-Screen Laptop

Hi, I have had the laptop an entire week. This morning, I tried to close the screen. Something had dropped into the crack between the base and bottom of the screen that I was unaware of. Needless to say, it is now cracked. The touchscreen functions still work. The crack is mostly in the lower left black section of the screen. In other words, I could live with it for now. Can I just ignore it for awhile? Will it get worse?

What do I need to replace the screen? Can I just replace the glass? Does anyone know the part numbers I would need? This is the model number.

Model: 17M-CE1013DX

Best option for repair? I am not mechanically inclined nor do I want to pay a ton for the repair since I just bought the laptop.

Thank you for any help or advice!
