Pavilion 14-ce3501na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

Sorry if it's a wrong section, it's my first post here 🙂

I have just purchased a brand-new Pavilion notebook. During the Windows 10 setup I heard a weird high pitch / crackling / clicking / static charge noise. It was coming from the top right part of the laptop or under the keyboard. Also, the right side of the notebook heats up slightly.

I followed advice from other threads and I ran a BIOS System Test. Every test was  marked as passed, excluding the Video Memory test. It gave me this error: https://pastebin.com/SVWFYDib

My laptop only has Intel's integrated UHD graphics. Could that be the reason for the error?

Could the noise issue be related to that? Or is it something else? Would finishing the Windows setup help? I haven't done it yet because I don't want to lose my guarantee.

P.S. The noise seems to be unaffected by changing volume/muting and connecting / disconnecting the charger. However, there is no noise in the HP Diagnosis UEFI.

Thank you in advance
