My HP Victus laptop has crashed almost every time while playing a game since i have got it. It has a RTX 3050 Laptop Gpu and an AMD RYZEN 5 5600H and 8GB of ram. When i go to event viewer and look around the time around the crash i get these errors:
The description for Event ID 153 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
The following information was included with the event:
\Device\Video6
Error occurred on GPUID: 100
The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table
and this one too sometimes:
The description for Event ID 13 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
The following information was included with the event:
\Device\Video6
Graphics Exception: ESR 0x404490=0x80000080
The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table
and also this one:
The GameInput Service service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 6 time(s).
Is anyone able to help as it happens every time I play a game and even though it can run games on 144 fps it still crashes after a couple seconds. If i play a game on 60fps it still crashes but takes a while.

Hi @nico109665
I can only advise you to increase the RAM, I think 8 GB is too little for certain types of games and when it is consumed the screen crashes start.

but you must keep in mind that only windows to be used must consume 2 GB, then there are the applications in the background that need GB, then there is the wi-fi etc... add up and you will see that you have very few GB.

You are welcome, check in the Task Manager when you play how much memory you are already consuming at the start of the game and you can have a better focus.
