Appreciate you trying the steps. Don't worry, I'm here to help!

Let's try these steps -

Step 1 Hard Reset -
1) Shutdown the computer.
2) Unplug all the Adapter and peripherals connected.
3) Remove the Battery.
4) Press and hold down the power button for 15 to 20 seconds.
5) Plug-in the Adapter and put the Battery back into the computer.
6) Try to turn on the computer.

Step 2 BIOS Defaults -
1) Shutdown the computer.
2) Turn the computer back on again and repeatedly tap on the ESC until a Startup menu appears.
3) Press F10 once for BIOS.
4) Press F9 for BIOS defaults.
5) Press F10 to save and exit.

Step 3 Re-install the touchpad driver -
1) Right click on the start or Windows icon and open the "Device Manager".
2) Expand the "Mice and other pointing devices".
3) Right click on the "Synaptics TouchPad".
4) Click on uninstall and restart the computer.

Step 4 System Restore -
1) Shutdown the computer.
2) Turn the computer back on again and repeatedly tap on the ESC until a Startup menu appears.
3) Press F11 once for System Recovery.
4) Choose the Keyboard Layout.
5) Click on Troubleshoot.
6) Go to Recovery Manager and click on System Restore.
7) Choose a Restore point or a Restore date when the computer was working fine.
8) Click on OK to initialize the System Restore.

Hope this helps!

I alteady had the drivers installed and everything else is up to date . Could it be a physical hardware issue as in broken ? O dont know what else to try?? i have put ar least 50 actual hours into this problem

I still think it has something to do with the led light above the touchpad. You have not addressed this in my previous posts ??

Thanks for getting back to us. This looks like a hardware issue. If it was a software or hardware issue, the steps previously mentioned should have fixed it.

Please contact the Phone Support in your region to have the device repaired.

Have a good day!
